USING MACINTOSH COMPUTERS

Yes, our fonts work on Catalina through Sonoma (OS 10.15, OS 11, OS 12, OS 13, and OS 14). You need an Upgrade if you are using a Mac that is running OS 10.14 or older.

OS X installations require you to enter your Administrator User ID and password.

Before releasing a new DVD, we test on OS 10.6.8 and all of the newer Mac operating systems, with the following programs: Word 2011, Word 2016, Word 2019, TextEdit, Pages, OpenOffice, NeoOffice, LibreOffice.

Look in Mac Known Problems for information on some word processor glitches.

USING WINDOWS SYSTEMS

The fonts run on every version of Windows (except Windows 3.1) up through Windows 11 and the current version of Microsoft Word. We no longer have an installer that runs on Windows 3.1; however, you can install the fonts on Windows 3.1 by following the instructions in the the file W_RAW_FONTS.TXT in the Windows\RawFonts folder. But the current Linkletter will not run on Windows 3.1.

Before releasing a new DVD, we test each font family with the following programs: Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016, Word 2019, OpenOffice, LibreOffice.

Note that our older DVD installers (pre-4/25/09) will not run on 64-bit Windows computers; you will need an Upgrade. If you are using the 64 bit version of Windows 8.1, see PC Known Problems.

If any fonts do not show up in your word processor after you run the installer, restart your computer.

There are known problems with various Windows word processors. See PC Known Problems.
